Seeing my heart

Arleen is a blessing in my life. She uplifts my spirit, encourages me, and shares my Faith. She also teaches me insightful Jamaican slang :-p Thank you Arleen for seeing my heart and being a luminous light in my life. ☀️✝️💗

Veterans Wall Of Honor

Washington Memorial Chapel
I’m thankful I could honor my Dad ~ Raymond S Drumheller ~ today by adding his name to the Veterans Wall Of Honor at my beloved chapel. “Tears shed for another person are not a sign of weakness. They are a sign of a pure heart.” ~ Jose N. Harris

So good to spend time with my friend Evan… An incredibly talented creative artist, world traveler, cook, musician, and writer… Since Waldorf school we usually cross paths during transition chapters of our lives… He follows his heart and lives his life boldly – with grace in his own direction. Love you always my dear friend!! 🎒✈️🌎 🖼 #evanjoblin

I must take a moment to celebrate this woman right here ~ my beloved friend Corey ~ she has been my light in darkness, my hope amidst pain, and made me laugh through some seriously difficult times. I mean it there were times through my darkest hours she rescued me from despair. You just do not forget something like that. She gets me, accepts me, never judges, and we share our Faith in Christ. We empower and inspire each other forward!! Girl you are a blessing ✝️💗 “Friendship is the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words.” ~ George Eliot

Everyone Must Leave Something Behind

TBT to Hawaii 2007 with my beloved Dad. We got lost in Oahu and met this amazing artist Patrick Ching … I miss my Dad every day. He is a part of me that will never ever die. “Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you’re there.” ~ Ray Bradbury #patrickching #patrickchingart #tbt

To love painfully deep

Father’s Day is a chasm in my heart. I miss my Dad everyday … I know he is walking with Jesus. Still it hurts to be in this world without him. My Dad is a part of me that will never die. “To love painfully deep is a sacred power.”~ Rune Lazuli #dad #grief #bereavement #atomicveteran #daddysgirl #usafveteran #dadsareforever #guardianangelcollection

Quality Time

I’m thankful to spend quality time with my Mum, Gma, and Brittany… It was good to have lunch together and spend the day taking Gma for a drive to some of her favorite places. We also dared to take her to visit my “equine senior” horse Shane (who she loves) — Gma not only remembers Shane – she nearly jumped out of the car window to greet him!! 🐴 ❤️

My friend Daria… When I first met her we were coworkers. She was having a bad day and somehow I became her rescuer. We also had days where we could not stop laughing. She especially found work stress relief in drawing interesting things on my manager’s office white board which I would frantically erase!! I don’t know exactly how I won her heart. I’m thankful she is my friend! Love you Daria!

“We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses there is at last one which makes the heart run over.”

-Ray Bradbury
